Although this soup is 12+ months in terms of ingredients, I thought it appropriate to write 18+ as it will contain grains and legumes. But this soup is also suitable for those over the age of 1 who can eat grains in the soup. For your information, the ingredients are family-sized, as the taste is the kind that we adults will like too.
Note : I recommend you to blend this soup for baby mothers who cannot eat grains. I think it is better for them to eat 1-2 spoons in its granular form, and 10 spoons in its blended form.
Materials
1 medium onion
1-2 tablespoons of butter
1 teaspoon of homemade tomato paste or 1-2 tablespoons of homemade tomato sauce ( Click to buy our tomato paste product )
6 glasses of water or meat/bone broth ( click to buy our Beef Marrow Bone Broth )
2 tablespoons of dried beans ( click to buy )
2 tablespoons of wheat
2 tablespoons of chickpeas ( click to buy )
4 tablespoons of barley vermicelli preferably with vegetables
1 teaspoon of wheat germ ( click to buy )
Salt, pepper
Fabrication
The onion is chopped and sautéed with water, that is, it is boiled with a small amount of water.
Add the butter and flour when it melts, and turn it in a saucepan over low heat for no longer than 1 minute. It is important to keep this process short in order not to burn the oil.
Then add tomato paste and water to the pot, bring it to a boil. In the meantime, if you stir the soup for 1-2 minutes with a whisk, you will get better results.
Legumes are also boiled in a small pot beforehand, since green lentils cook faster than other legumes, green lentils can be added to the pulse mixture later.
Cooked legumes and vermicelli are added to the boiling soup. Cook the noodles for about 10 minutes on medium heat until they are cooked.
Optionally, salt can also be made with the addition of vermicelli. Finally, it is served with the addition of wheat germ.
